Join a friendly, opinionated group of literary enthusiasts for a lively book club discussion! Our October book is The Sea, The Sea by Iris Murdoch. You may be familiar with Iris Murdoch as portrayed in the 2001 movie, Iris, as portrayed by Kate Winslet and Judi Dench. The Sea, The Sea, Murdoch's 19th novel, won the Booker Prize in 1978. Pick it up and start reading! In previous meetings, we've discussed Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov, and The Trial by Franz Kafka. Come with suggestions for books you'd like to read and discuss.
