Saturday, December 19, 2009?9:00 am to 12:00 (Meet at 8:30)?San Francisco Food Bank?900 Pennsylvania Ave. ?San Francisco, CA 94107 415-543-8060 In the spirit of the Holiday season, the Harvard Club has reserved a spot for 30 volunteers on December 19th from 9am to 12 pm at the San Francisco Food Bank. Thank you for your interest last year, and please help us meet our allotted number of volunteers this Holiday season! During the project shift, volunteers help to get food ready to be distributed to soup kitchens, food pantries, after-school programs, and all of the other 600+ places that feed people in need for free throughout the city. Projects typically involve sorting donations from food drives and grocery stores, repackaging bulk items into more useful portions, gleaning and boxing fresh produce, or stocking grocery shelves.
