Last year, over 400 alumni from The College, from Radcliffe, and from every one of the Grad Schools came together to greet old friends and make new ones at the Old Mint. This year, we hope you can all come discover with us the brand new home of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, as we usher in the New Year with wonderful food, boutique wines from incredible winemakers, and fabulous music and art provided by the students of The Conservatory, and our own local Harvardwood community. As part of our program, we will have an official welcome for our newest HCSF members, the graduates of 2009. We will need all of you to help teach them our secret handshake. For those of you who came to last year's party, you know what a great time we had; for those who didn't, don't miss out this time. When: Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, from 5:30 until whenever. Where: The SF Conservatory of Music, 50 Oak St. between Van Ness and Franklin, just off Market, in San Francisco. Cost: Only $25 for members (members may bring one guest at member rate), if you register by January 7, so don't delay; $35 for non-members and late registrants. Price includes abundant food (heavy hors d'oeuvres), wine tastings, and music - a cash bar will be available. Directions: By BART, exit at the Civic Center Station, the Conservatory is just a short walk; numerous buses and trolleys service the Van Ness/Market stop; by car, there is street parking (no meters after 6:00), and three small parking lots surrounding the Conservatory (note: Oak St, which is one-way East-bound from Golden Gate Park to Franklin, becomes one-way West-bound for the short block from Van Ness to Franklin).
