Join a friendly, opinionated group of literary enthusiasts for a lively discussion of One Hundred Years of Solitude by Nobel Prize winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This novel exemplifies magical realism in chronicling six generations of a family in the fantastical village of Macondo. In previous meetings, we've discussed To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf, Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie, and The Trial by Franz Kafka. Come with suggestions for books you'd like to read and discuss. E-mail Yvonne Tsang at ytsang@post.harvard.edu with any questions.
