Enjoy an intimate, 3-hour culinary walking tour of San Francisco's Mission District!
This neighborhood is the center of San Francisco's dynamic Latino and South American community. Our 14-person culinary tour includes a mouth-watering assortment of savory and sweet tastings from traditional food artisans and shopkeepers. We will also hear their personal insights on the area's history, food, and world-famous murals. Highlights will include noshing:
- Maple bacon donuts at Dynamo Donuts
- Handmade tartlets at Mission Pie
- Scrumptious Mexican tacos at El Farolito
- Hand-held savory pies delivered by Bike Basket Pies
- Award-winning and one-of-a-kind ice cream at Humphry Slocombe's
- Sweet pan dulce at La Victoria
We will also browse vintage and current cookbook titles at Omnivore Books.
HCSF members are invited to join the tour for $60, a discount of 14% off the normal price. Members may also register one guest at this rate. Cost includes the three-hour walking tour and artisan edibles.
