American Cinema Night will alternate every Friday with World Cinema Night to give members and their guests a place to go and enjoy at the end of every work week. At times, to introduce people to our club, we will be inviting members of one or more of our alumni partners to join us as well. According to Wikipedia, "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill is a 2005 documentary film directed, produced, and edited by Judy Irving. It chronicles the relationship between Mark Bittner, an unemployed musician who is living rent-free in a cabin in Telegraph Hill in San Francisco, California, and a flock of feral parrots (cherry-headed and two blue-crowned conures) that he feeds and interacts with. Bittner notes that there is humor in the piece, which he believes makes it different from many other nature documentaries." The cost includes a drink. Make a night of it, alumni and guests are invited to come early or stay after for dinner. The Club takes cash and credit cards. Part of the fun of film night is the intelligent discussions that take place afterwards. A server will be on hand to take your drink order. Click here to register
