Start the new year with a classic American novel. Angle of Repose, Wallace Stegner's 1972 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, is the epic story of four generations in the life of an American family. A wheelchair-bound retired historian embarks on a quest to get to know his long-dead grandparents, a journey that follows the unfolding drama of the story of the American West. Stegner has said of his novel, "It's perfectly clear that if every writer is born to write one story, that's my story."
Join us for our first meeting of 2012! We'll meet in downtown SF at a Bart-friendly location. E-mail Yvonne Tsang at email@example.com with any questions.
