Start Where You Are: A Creative Writing Workshop - Cancelled!

Taught by Harvard Alum Novelist Mary Rakow, Ph.D.
Saturday, January 19, 2013
1pm-4 pm
Limited to 10 participants

Bring what you have to this critique seminar: a novel excerpt, part of a short story, the opening of a memoir. Find what you are trying to make. Get started. Go deeper into what you have. See more clearly the finishing touches you must now do. Take a step toward more powerful, truthful and beautiful work.

Every participant will receive detailed critique on up to 5 pages of prose work. The atmosphere is safe but also rigorous. "Many creatures must make, but only one must seek within itself what to make." We are that creature. We alone must make objects of meaning.
